Passenger Safety Policy

This policy sets out our arrangements to ensure passenger safety and to ensure that at all times passengers are transported in a safe and comfortable manner and that all risks to passenger safety have been identified and appropriate controls are in place to mitigate these risks.

To ensure passenger safety we will ensure the following;

• The permitted number of passengers for each vehicle is clearly understood and never exceeded

• A risk assessment will be completed for all passenger vehicle types used

• Safety documentation will be prepared for all passenger vehicles including all relevant safety instructions and guidance for passengers

Drivers who are driving passenger vehicles will be given additional training and where required will also be subject to additional background checks and screening including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
